Multi Cloud, Multi Region, Multi Tenant, and Edge Deployments
Connect multi-cloud, multi-region, or edge deployments in minutes using the KubeSlice application networking layer.
Service to Service Connectivity
Service to Service Connectivity
Bring new namespaces onto a Slice that already contains distributed applications. Once on the Slice, the services can easily discover each other and communicate with each other as if they’re in one network, enhancing Kubernetes service discovery.
Zero Trust Security
Zero Trust Security
Slice creates secure VPN tunnels (NIST, FIPS 140-2 compliant) across multi-cluster, thus enabling application discovery and communication. It establishes a framework for Kubernetes zero trust networking, ensuring that applications are shielded from potential malicious attacks originating from other parts of the clusters.
Visibility and Monitoring
Visibility and Monitoring
Real-time monitoring of namespaces, resource usage, access controls, and service-to-service communications in both single and multi-clusters.
Isolate with Network Policy
Isolate with Network Policy
As the number of deployed applications grows, it’s beneficial to isolate them from a network standpoint. Isolate traffic from one team’s applications to another using network policy, preventing IP address conflicts in Kubernetes.
KubeSlice Architecture
KubeSlice is an “overlay” because it works with existing K8s deployments and does not require any significant change to existing code – only an annotation needs to be added to a pod spec to enable its inclusion into a Slice. This overlay network in Kubernetes ensures that the networking layer is simplified and more manageable.
Take a look at the comparative analysis of KubeSlice.

How to Create a KubeSlice?
Here are the steps to create an Avesha KubeSlice for a cluster or Multi-cluster and attach application pods to the slice, ensuring seamless multi-cluster service connectivity and multi-cluster service mesh functionality:
binoculars
With Helm Chart, install KubeSlice control plane pods and gateway pods.
Use KubeSlice Manager or configure the Helm chart with application details to onboard applications to a Slice.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 on each cluster that needs to be on the Slice. Gateway pods from each cluster will get connected, and service discovery will be enabled.
Visualize the Slice, its applications, its resources, and traffic details in the KubeSlice Manager dashboard all from a single pane of glass but for multi-cluster/multi-cloud.
